Not new to me, but new to DRESSED, we were so honored to be allowed to review the property. Yotel was one of the first venues we've visited during a perfume launch upon arriving in Manhattan back in 2010, so we feel the hotel is special to us.

Sharing my style with my readers is one of the things I've always wanted to do while working at DRESSED. Sharing and inspiring is one of the main reasons for creation.

We were downtown wrapping up her interview for the OCT issue of the magazine. I've been meaning to meet up with for a while now. She's been super MIA for a while and DRESSED finally got to sit down with her.

 When I think of book bags I think I about how I left those things back in middle school.

Seeing this guy pull off a nice high-quality, leather book bag got me thinking about all the outfits I could possibly wear without having to tote a super feminine hand-bag.

Seeking this as an investment piece.

We shot Shay's self-designed and created looks on his rooftop here in the city on Mother's Day. We were all very pleased with the outcomes.

I love AB and his style musically and aesthetically because it's so bright just like his personality. Imagine the creativity alone being in the room with this "Banjee Cunt".

Thursday night marked the opening of The Harlem Haberdashery located in the heart of the historic neighborhood in Manhattan at 122nd and Lenox Ave.

Harlem Haberdashery is owned and operated as a family business specializing in selling upscale men and women's clothing. Price points at the store range from $20 to $1,000.

 So one of my good friends from Charlotte, Mario and I got together and did a little shopping down on the East Side today. A good meet up was needed since we haven't seen each other since we both moved to the city.

We both didn't find all that much, but nonetheless this outfit deserves some recognition.

Event: Carissa Rosario Perfume Launch

The super gorgeous model and actress, Carissa Rosario launched her new fragrance "Limited" today at Yotel in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of NYC.

I got the chance to attend under my friend Tyrone from TrueFashionistaNow.com. I'm no socialite, but I love the chance to get out and meet new people in the industry as much as possible as well as having an excuse to get DRESSED up.

DIY: My Custom Gold Studded Chuck Taylor Project

I always wanted a pair of studded Christian Louboutin slip-ons, but since I can't afford them I decided to try out the studded trend by my own means while being creative. 

To satisfy my studded apparel fetish, I went out to Mood designer fabric store in the Garment District in Midtown Manhattan and got two packs of gold studs that ended up only being $9 for 144 pieces. Not bad I'd say for a starters pack. 

Here are the final results. I didn't go to crazy with the studs since I wasn't going for "flashy". I also applied the studs on the both of the outer sides of the shoe. The application process was not hard at all if you were wondering, it took me no more than 1 hour to complete both shoes.

I'm ready to give my newly revamped shoes a spin and will hopefully have an outfit photo for you as soon as I set that up.
